Sodium Ferrocyanide CAS 14434-22-1 is the sodium salt of the coordination compound of formula [Fe(CN)6]4−. It is a yellow crystalline solid that is soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol.
Function & Applications
1) Pigment industry: used for production of Prussian blue and potassium ferricyanide raw materials;
2) Dyeing and printing industry: used for production of blue printing paper;
3) Pharmaceutical industry: used for the pharmaceutical production in the process of removing iron;
4) Iron and steel industry: used for carburizing steel, leather tanning, metal surface corrosion treatment;
5) Food industry: used as a food additive -- table salt anti-caking agent.
6) Other: used for the winter de-icing salt, inorganic chemical additive for preventing agglomeration; and used as a photographic materials;
