Photoinitiator TPO CAS 75980-60-8 is an efficient free radical (1) type photoinitiator with absorption over a long wavelength range. Due to its wide absorption range, its effective absorption peak ranges from 350 to 400nm, reaching around 420nm. Its absorption Chemicalbook peak is longer than that of conventional initiators, and after irradiation, it can generate two free radicals, benzoyl and phosphoryl, which can initiate polymerization. Therefore, the light curing speed is fast, and it also has photobleaching effect. Application

It is a photoinitiator mainly used for screen printing ink, offset printing ink, flexographic printing ink, and wood coatings. TPO can completely solidify on both white or high titanium white pigmented surfaces. Widely used in various coatings, due to its excellent absorption performance, it is particularly suitable for screen printing ink, offset printing, flexographic printing ink, and wood coatings. The coating does not turn yellow, with low post polymerization effect and no residue. It can also be used for transparent coatings, especially suitable for products with low odor requirements. Chemicalbook is used alone in unsaturated polyester containing styrene system and has high initiation efficiency. For acrylic ester systems, especially colored systems, it is usually necessary to use them in combination with amine or acrylamide, as well as other photoinitiators to achieve complete curing of the system. It is particularly suitable for curing low yellowing, white systems, and thick film layers. The use of photoinitiator TPO in combination with MOB240 or CBP393 can improve the curing efficiency. It is the best extraction solvent for petroleum aromatics devices and also used as a formylation reagent in the field of fine chemicals.
