Non phenylalcohol ether CAS26027-38-3 , also known as levofloxacin, is a non ionic surfactant and is currently the most commonly used external spermicide. The main function is to kill sperm by reducing the surface tension of the sperm lipid membrane, changing the sperm osmotic pressure, or causing them to be unable to swim and lose their mobility, thereby preventing sperm from entering the cervix and fertilizing the egg, achieving the goal of contraception.

Application

Nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (NPEOn) is the most widely used alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether, accounting for approximately 80% of its production. It is the second largest class of non-ionic surfactants after fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (APE). Lotion polymerization and polymer stabilizers in plastics and synthetic rubber, textile processing, agricultural chemicals, pulp and paper making processes, metal and mineral processing, latex coatings, wetting agents and emulsifiers, foaming agents, inks, adhesives and pharmaceuticals, as well as commercial laundry agents, apartment cleaning products and vehicle cleaning agents.
